Store connection
The dedicated installation page requests the store’s permanent myshopify.com domain and then continues through Shopify authorisation. Review all requested permissions before approving the app for a production store.
Use an active BotLinkd account and connect an eligible WhatsApp Business Platform number.
Open the BotLinkd Shopify installation page and provide the permanent myshopify.com domain requested by the connection flow.
Continue through Shopify authorisation and review the data access requested by the app before approving installation.
Configure supported events, assign approved templates and place controlled test orders before enabling production notifications.

Shopify webhooks notify installed apps when subscribed events occur. BotLinkd can use supported events to trigger the templates and operational workflows enabled for your store and account.

Shopify displays the app’s requested permissions during the authorisation process. Order and customer fields can be subject to Shopify protected-customer-data requirements. Use only the access needed for enabled notification workflows and keep store credentials restricted to authorised administrators.

Shopify assigns every store a permanent myshopify.com domain even when the storefront uses a custom public domain. The installation flow uses the Shopify store domain to start authorisation for the correct store.
The merchant reviews the permissions requested during Shopify authorisation. Access to customer and order data depends on approved API scopes, Shopify protected-customer-data requirements and the app configuration. Only the data required for enabled workflows should be used.
