BotLinkd is an independent business messaging platform built on the official WhatsApp Business Platform Cloud API. It combines customer conversations, a multi-agent shared inbox, templates, campaigns, scheduling, contacts, automation, AI-assisted workflows, analytics, APIs, webhooks and integrations in one business workspace.

Platform & SetupIs BotLinkd owned by Meta or WhatsApp?

No. BotLinkd is an independent platform and is not owned or operated by Meta. BotLinkd is a Verified Meta Tech Provider and uses official WhatsApp Business Platform infrastructure, permissions and webhooks.

Platform & SetupHow do I connect a WhatsApp Business Account to BotLinkd?

Eligible businesses connect through Meta Embedded Signup. The business signs in to Meta, selects or creates the required business assets, authorises the requested permissions and connects the applicable WhatsApp Business Account and phone number. Timing depends on Meta verification, phone-number status and account configuration, so BotLinkd does not promise a fixed completion time.

Platform & SetupDo I need coding knowledge to use BotLinkd?

No coding is required for standard dashboard features such as chats, contacts, templates, quick replies, auto replies, campaigns and team access. Development knowledge is useful only for custom API, webhook or external-system integrations.

Platform & SetupWho owns the connected WhatsApp Business Account and customer data?

The business remains responsible for and in control of its authorised WhatsApp assets, customer relationships and lawfully submitted business data, subject to Meta and WhatsApp terms. BotLinkd processes connected data to provide, secure and support the requested service as described in the Privacy Policy.

Platform & SetupCan an existing WhatsApp number always be connected?

Not every number is immediately eligible. Availability depends on its current WhatsApp setup, ownership verification, country, Meta account status, migration or coexistence eligibility and current onboarding configuration. Contact BotLinkd before changing an active business number when continuity is important.

Messaging & TemplatesWhat kinds of WhatsApp messages can BotLinkd support?

Depending on the connected account, Meta approval, message context and enabled features, BotLinkd can support text, images, video, documents, audio, voice notes, locations, interactive buttons and approved template messages. Availability varies by WhatsApp message type and platform rules.

Messaging & TemplatesWhat is the difference between a service message and a template message?

When a customer has recently messaged the business, supported free-form service replies may be sent within the applicable customer-service window. Outside that window, businesses generally need an approved template message. Current Meta rules, categories and pricing determine how a message is treated.

Messaging & TemplatesWhich WhatsApp template categories are available?

WhatsApp currently uses template categories such as Marketing, Utility and Authentication. The correct category depends on the message purpose and Meta’s classification rules. Meta may approve, reject or reclassify a submitted template.

Messaging & TemplatesWhat can I include in a BotLinkd template?

BotLinkd template creation can support text, dynamic variables such as {{1}} and {{2}}, optional text headers, footers and supported image, video, document or location formats. Supported buttons may include quick-reply or custom buttons, website links, phone calls and copy-offer-code actions. Components depend on the selected category and current Meta support.

Messaging & TemplatesCan BotLinkd create authentication or OTP templates?

BotLinkd can support authentication-template workflows where the connected account, region and current Meta functionality allow them. Authentication messages must use the applicable Meta authentication format and restrictions; they are not unrestricted general-purpose text templates.

Messaging & TemplatesDoes BotLinkd guarantee Meta template approval?

No. BotLinkd helps businesses prepare and submit templates, but approval, rejection, categorisation and enforcement decisions are controlled by Meta. Correct categorisation, complete examples and policy-compliant content improve submission quality but cannot guarantee approval.

Messaging & TemplatesCan I run campaigns and schedule WhatsApp messages?

Yes. BotLinkd supports campaign creation and scheduling for authorised, opted-in recipients, subject to the selected plan, approved templates, contact limits, messaging quality, Meta rules and applicable charges.

Messaging & TemplatesDo customers need to opt in before I message them?

Yes. Businesses are responsible for obtaining valid recipient permission before initiating messages where required, retaining appropriate consent records and honouring opt-out requests. Importing or possessing a phone number does not automatically create valid WhatsApp consent.

Inbox & ContactsDoes BotLinkd provide a multi-agent shared inbox?

Yes. Authorised team members can manage customer conversations from a shared business workspace with conversation visibility, assignments and related agent controls. Available users, workspaces and permissions depend on the account and plan.

Inbox & ContactsCan I create workspaces and add team members?

BotLinkd includes workspace and team-member management for supported accounts. Administrators should give each person only the permissions needed for their role and remove access promptly when it is no longer required.

Inbox & ContactsCan I import and export customers or contacts?

Yes. Supported accounts can import contacts, export supported records and add customers individually. Businesses remain responsible for the accuracy, lawful collection and messaging consent associated with imported data.

Inbox & ContactsCan I organise customers into groups and use bulk actions?

Yes. BotLinkd supports customer groups and account-dependent bulk actions such as assigning selected contacts to a group or deleting selected contacts. Review destructive actions carefully because deleted contacts or chats may not be recoverable.

BotLinkd includes a supported chat-history import option for applicable accounts and formats. Import completeness and media availability depend on the source data and current platform functionality. Keep an independent backup before migration.

Inbox & ContactsHow many contacts can BotLinkd store?

Contact capacity depends on the selected plan and account configuration. The dashboard can display the configured maximum, including account limits that may reach up to 500,000 contacts. This is not a universal entitlement for every plan, and messaging limits or charges are separate from stored-contact capacity.

Inbox & ContactsWhat are quick replies and auto replies?

Quick replies help agents reuse approved response text during live conversations. Auto replies trigger configured responses or workflows based on supported rules. Businesses should test automation, keep responses accurate and provide human escalation where appropriate.

AI & AutomationCan BotLinkd use AI for customer replies?

Yes. BotLinkd can provide optional AI-assisted replies, question answering, conversation context and related workflow support. AI is one capability within the broader platform and is not required to use the shared inbox, templates, campaigns, APIs or integrations.

AI & AutomationCan I train AI using my own business information?

Supported accounts can provide approved business knowledge and training material for configured AI features. Upload only information that your business is authorised to process, keep sources current and avoid unnecessary sensitive data.

AI & AutomationCan a human agent take over from AI?

Yes. BotLinkd supports human handover and AI controls. Authorised users can pause AI for an individual contact and, where configured, pause it across the platform when full human control is required.

AI & AutomationAre AI answers guaranteed to be accurate?

No. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable for a specific customer. Businesses should maintain current knowledge sources, test workflows and use human review for payments, legal rights, safety, regulated advice or other important outcomes.

AI & AutomationCan I combine quick replies, automation rules and AI?

Yes, subject to enabled account features. A business can use deterministic quick replies or auto-reply rules for predictable questions and AI assistance for broader conversational support, with escalation to a human agent when needed.

BotLinkd provides supported solutions for Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento 2, OpenCart and other listed integrations. Exact order events, templates and configuration options depend on the integration and version.

Yes. BotLinkd provides API keys, documented endpoints and webhooks for supported custom workflows. Developers must protect credentials, validate events where supported, respect rate limits and avoid exposing secrets in browser code or public repositories.

Yes. BotLinkd Chat is available for Android through Google Play. Existing BotLinkd users can access supported customer conversations, view messages and reply from a compatible Android device.

Integrations & MobileWhat do I need to use the BotLinkd Chat Android app?

You need an active BotLinkd account, a supported Android device and a valid BotLinkd App Key and Auth Key from your dashboard. Treat both keys as confidential credentials and share them only with authorised users.

Integrations & MobileDoes the mobile app replace the BotLinkd web dashboard?

No. BotLinkd Chat is a focused mobile companion for supported conversation tasks. Administrative, configuration, billing, campaign, integration and advanced account functions may still require the main BotLinkd dashboard.

Billing & SupportDoes BotLinkd automatically include a free trial?

No. BotLinkd does not automatically activate a free trial during registration, and a free trial is not included in every package.

Billing & SupportCan I request a demo or limited trial?

Yes. A prospective customer may request a demo or limited evaluation. Approval is not automatic, and BotLinkd confirms the duration, features, limits and conditions separately for each approved request.

Billing & SupportAre BotLinkd payments refundable?

Payments are final and non-refundable once processed, except where applicable law requires otherwise or BotLinkd verifies a duplicate, incorrect or technical billing error. There are no prorated refunds for unused time or cancellation after renewal.

Billing & SupportAre Meta or WhatsApp messaging charges included in the BotLinkd subscription?

Not necessarily. BotLinkd subscription fees and Meta or WhatsApp messaging or usage charges are separate unless a written quotation or plan explicitly states otherwise. Taxes, payment-provider fees and custom services may also be separate.

Billing & SupportWhat support does BotLinkd provide?

Active customers receive free standard product and technical support. Standard support can include account guidance, troubleshooting supported BotLinkd features and help identifying whether an issue relates to BotLinkd or a third party.

Billing & SupportDoes free support include custom development or managed services?

No. Free standard support does not automatically include custom development, extensive migration, dedicated personnel, managed campaigns, third-party system repair, specialised consulting or custom integration projects. Those services may require a separate scope and quotation.

Billing & SupportWhat happens when I cancel a recurring subscription?

A successfully completed cancellation stops the next recurring BotLinkd renewal. It does not reverse a payment already processed, create a permanent free plan or guarantee continued access after the paid service period ends.

Security & ComplianceIs BotLinkd secure?

BotLinkd uses reasonable technical and organisational safeguards such as HTTPS or TLS connections, authentication, access controls, role-based permissions, credential controls, logging and infrastructure protections. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so customers must also protect credentials, devices and user permissions.

Security & ComplianceHow should I protect API keys, App Keys and Auth Keys?

Treat every key or token as a confidential credential. Store it only in protected server-side or approved application settings, limit access to authorised users, never publish it in screenshots or public code and rotate it promptly if exposure is suspected.

Security & ComplianceWho is responsible for WhatsApp policy compliance?

The business using BotLinkd is responsible for recipient consent, opt-outs, products, services, templates, campaigns and message content. BotLinkd may restrict activity that presents security, legal, spam or platform-policy risk.

Security & ComplianceCan Meta restrict or ban a WhatsApp number?

Yes. Meta or WhatsApp may reject templates, reduce messaging limits, restrict a number, disable a WhatsApp Business Account or take other enforcement action for spam, low quality, policy violations, misclassification, fraud or other risk. BotLinkd does not control those decisions.

Security & ComplianceDoes BotLinkd sell personal or customer data?

BotLinkd does not sell personal information for monetary consideration. Data may be processed by authorised infrastructure, payment, messaging, app, analytics, AI or integration providers only for relevant services and subject to the Privacy Policy.

Security & ComplianceHow can I request account or data deletion?

Submit a verified deletion request through the BotLinkd data-deletion page or contact support using the registered account information. Eligible data is deleted subject to legal, tax, billing, security, fraud, backup and compliance retention requirements.
