This page explains how an authorized BotLinkd user can permanently delete customer contacts and associated chat history stored in a selected WhatsApp workspace.

How to delete contacts and chat history
Confirm the correct workspace before using the permanent deletion control.

Sign in to BotLinkd
Open the BotLinkd dashboard using an account with permission to manage the relevant WhatsApp workspace.

Open the Customers area
Go to WhatsApp Module, then select Customers for the workspace whose stored customer data you want to remove.

Choose the permanent deletion action
Select Delete All Contacts & Chats above the customer table. Review the warning before continuing.

Confirm the deletion
Confirm only after checking the selected workspace and exporting any information your business still needs.

The action applies to customer data stored in the selected BotLinkd WhatsApp workspace.
Associated chat history
Conversation history associated with those contacts is removed from the selected BotLinkd workspace.
Not deleted by this action
Accounts and business assets remain separate

- Your BotLinkd login account

Does this delete my Facebook or Meta account?
No. The BotLinkd dashboard action described on this page deletes contacts and associated chat history from the selected BotLinkd WhatsApp workspace. It does not delete your personal Facebook account, Meta account or Meta Business Portfolio.
Does this delete my WhatsApp Business Account?
No. The action removes stored contact and chat data from the selected BotLinkd workspace. It does not delete the connected WhatsApp Business Account.
Can deleted contacts or chats be restored?
The Delete All Contacts & Chats action is permanent in the BotLinkd dashboard. Export any information your business needs before confirming the deletion.
Who can perform this action?
Only an authorized BotLinkd user with access to the relevant workspace should perform the deletion. Confirm that the correct WhatsApp workspace is selected before continuing.
What should I do if I cannot access the dashboard?
Contact BotLinkd support using the email associated with your account and identify the relevant workspace. Do not send passwords, verification codes, access tokens or private API keys.
